Slightly, I catch you in my sight.
Brightly, your beauty takes me to new heights.
Whimsy is what you instill in me.
Feeding the caterpillars what they need.
Dazzling, the glow radiates.
Crushing, a sparkling aura of crushing weight.
Desire is what you instill in me.
Feeding the caterpillars more than they need.
It was me that your beauty captivates.
However the caterpillars have gone their seperate ways.
Some could not stand your heat.
Others their heart could not beat.
Yet, before the death, the eggs were laid.
And when the price is paid,
Sure as my sentence is Hell,
I shall have only one thing to tell.
Blackness, I see nothing else but you.
Warmth, I feel nothing else but you.
Softening what we have, strenghtening our ties
Is what feeds the fluttering butterflies.
Softening what we have,
Strengthening our ties,
Leaving each of us the other to save
Is what sustains the fluttering butterflies.
And prevents their shriveling,
Their severing.
